JOEL ORLOFF
Animator
Joel Orloff is an animator who lives in Providence, Rhode Island.Â
He has led animation teams for a number of award-winning documentary projects, including Oren Rudavsky's new film, Elie Wiesel: Soul on Fire, and American Masters’ Unladylike 2020, among others.Â
He won best music video for Pink Floyd’s Breathe (In the Air) in their 50th anniversary Dark Side of the Moon Music Video Contest. His work is now on extended loan at the Newport Art Museum.Â
He received an Artist Development grant from the Brown Arts Institute and was a member of their 2021 Cohort. He currently teaches in the Film/Animation/Video department at Rhode Island School of Design.
